The municipal process in terms of alternative waste management is broken down into the following 4 steps:
Toolkit
The Feasibility Study Toolkit: Solid Waste Management is an appendix to the Municipal Service Delivery and PPP Guidelines.
It deals with some aspects of the feasibility study for a solid waste management partnership:
- Stage 1: Needs analysis
- Stage 2: Technical options analysis
- Stage 3: Service delivery options analysis
- Stage 6: Value assessment
(Step 4 and step 5 do not apply).
